How old are these prices?
Every row carries its own timestamp. Authorized rows come off distributor APIs and refresh every few minutes. Independent listings only refresh when the trader sends a feed, and anything over 30 days old gets pulled.
What does Independent actually mean?
The seller isn't franchised by the manufacturer and isn't an ECIA member. The stock is probably real, but nobody has verified where it came from. Ask for date and lot codes, and budget for third-party testing if it's going into production.
Why isn't the cheapest row at the top?
We sort by certainty first, price second. A Tier 3 quote can be the cheapest number on the page and still be the wrong buy for a production run.
